Somnent is a melodic doom/death band from Orlando, Florida (USA). Created by multi-instrumentalist Giovanni Antonio Vigliotti and currently signed to Meuse Music Records (Belgium), Somnent has released four albums to date. The EP Eventide (2015), Sojourn (2017), Gardens from Graves (2021), and Doom Heart Fest V – Live in Milan, Italy (2024).

Somnent’s sound uses a combination of electric and acoustic instruments to weave songs of melancholy, loss, and hardship; all to create a listening experience that is as much soothing as it is heartbreaking. As a live act, Somnent performs nationally and internationally multiple times a year. Delivering a performance that is both eloquent and emotionally powerful.
